Hawke’s Bay Multiple Sclerosis Society

Mission Statement

The Hawke’s Bay Multiple Sclerosis Society provides support and education to people with multiple sclerosis and their families/whanau.

The Hawke’s Bay Multiple Sclerosis Society came into being in 1976. People who were diagnosed with MS and their families spent many hours fundraising by many means to purchase MS House which was based in Austin Street. The Society remained at Austin Street until March 2012 when the building was sold.

The Society provides peer support groups, gives information and knowledge about MS to clients and their families and the wider community. Support groups include our Monday group which meets every second Monday, monthly coffee mornings in Napier, Hastings and Central Hawke’s Bay.

For any information regarding groups run by the Society, please visit out ‘Contact Us’ page.
